It’s been a decade since the PAX Prime event in 2011. During this event, there was an alternate future/universe skin reward, which you may know as PAX Sivir.

With the skin, Sivir looks like a futuristic soldier set in an alternate universe and wields an ultra-modern-looking crossblade.

All these years later, League’s player base still talks about it. Many wonder how to acquire the skin for themselves and whether it’s even possible to do so.

One of the reasons players want it so much is that PAX Sivir is one of the rarest skins in the game

PAX Sivir was only redeemable with a code that you got if you attended the PAX event that year.

Until 2014, the code could be purchased on the internet from someone who attended the event and then redeemed in League’s store.

Nowadays, it’s next to impossible to get the skin on your very own account.

We have good news (or bad, depending on how you look at it) for you, though, as we have found a way to complete your account’s collection with this awesome skin.

PAX Sivir – Overview

If PAX Sivir looks like she came out of a science-fiction movie set in a different world, that’s because she kind of did.

The skin was inspired by the Tron movie released in 2010 and bears many similarities to its characters.

PAX Sivir wears a sleek full-body futuristic suit. The color of her hair is now white, which goes very well with the rest of the appearance.

The color scheme used for the skin is black, neon blue, and red.

Sivir’s weapon, the crossblade, also received a new design. It is a contemporary black and red blade with whitish/silver edges.

As of 2017, PAX Sivir also has its own loading screen border.

When PAX Sivir came out in August 2011, skins didn’t have much more to offer than the standard outfit change.

It didn’t include any new animations or voice lines, and of course, chromas were out of the question.

Abilities

Passive – Fleet Of Foot

The few bluish lines that appear behind Sivir when she attacks an enemy look just like the base skin.

Q – Boomerang Blade

Sivir’s crossblade now leaves a red trail instead of a yellow one. This corresponds very well with the red color in the blade.

W – Ricochet

The Ricochet ability is so clear for PAX Sivir because the crossblades almost retain their original size and transparency. It makes auto-attacking much more pleasurable too!

PAX Sivir Abilities

E – Spell Shield

PAX Sivir has the same purple shield as the base skin. This shield explodes when it blocks an ability and lets Sivir regain some of her mana.

R – On the Hunt

The ultimate also remains the same. It looks like a cyclone that, once activated, surrounds Sivir as she gains movement speed.

Emotes

Joke

As we’ve learned from Sivir’s lore, she has had quite a hard childhood. Being brought up in the Shuriman desert, it’s no wonder her joke line includes the following:

“They say the desert is a cruel mistress. I like the sound of that.”

Taunt

Sivir’s taunt includes her throwing the crossblade around her and catching it with the other hand. While she does that, she says:

“Takes a lot to stay at the top.”

Dance

The dance consists of doing the Arm Wave movement and stepping to the left and to the right. Simple but fun!

Laugh

Sivir laughs mockingly at her enemies as she puts her hand on her hips.

Recall

We can see Sivir’s famous warrior pose for the PAX Sivir skin, as she recalls. This is the same animation for all of the older Sivir skins.

How Rare Is PAX Sivir?

PAX Sivir is one of the rarest skins in League of Legends. It is estimated that only 1.5% among 150 million registered players have it.

This is because you could only get PAX Sivir with a code you received from attending PAX Prime in 2011.

Back in 2011, not many people that attended the Penny Arcade eXpo event played League of Legends, as the game was not that widely spread yet.

That’s why many of the attendants sold their skin on eBay for around $200 at the time. Since 2014, it’s not possible to redeem PAX Sivir with a code.

How to Get PAX Sivir In 2021?

There are two ways on how you can get PAX Sivir in 2024. The first way is to buy a LoL account from a third-party website (such as eBay) with PAX Sivir on it.

And the second way is to ask Riot’s Customer Support for the possibility of buying the skin if you already have all obtainable skins on your account.

Many websites sell rare LoL accounts. Some of them can be really cheap, but others with rare skins like PAX Sivir may range from $200 to $700.

And if you’re one of the skin collectors in the game and own more than 1000 skins, you have probably spent thousands of dollars already and wouldn’t want to start from scratch on another account.

In that case, contacting Riot’s support may be the best way to go, and there’s a great possibility you will get the skin you want.

Twisted Fate Reddit Post
A Reddit User Got the Pax Twisted Fate by Contacting Riot’s Customer Support

As you can see in the Reddit post, the OP got the PAX Twisted Fate skin once Your Shop was available again. He was asked to choose from a list of rare, unattainable skins, including PAX Sivir.

You can check out the full post here.

If you don’t own that many skins and still write to support, you will probably be rejected.

PAX Sivir vs. Neo PAX Sivir

Neo PAX Sivir was released in August 2017 and is a special edition of the 2011 PAX Sivir skin. Both are Legacy skins and are no longer available for purchasing.

The only difference between PAX Sivir and Neo PAX Sivir is the color. PAX Sivir is mostly in black and blue, while Neo PAX Sivir is in black and orange.

The only way you could get Neo PAX Sivir is if you crafted this skin with 10 gems. This was possible for a limited time only, from 31. August 2017 until 08. January 2018.

If you didn’t get the chance to craft this skin back in 2017, there’s sadly not much you can do. You do, however, have the same two options that we mentioned above.

Both of these options require you to spend a couple of hundred dollars (at least), and you’re the only one that can decide if it’s worth it.

What Is PAX Sivir Worth?

As of 2021, PAX Sivir is worth anywhere from $200 to $700. This skin is highly desirable by many League of Legends collectors because it’s locked up in the Legacy Vault.

PAX Sivir is never going to be available through League’s store, which adds to its worthiness.

Once Riot puts a skin in the Legacy Vault, it means it can never again be purchased with RP from the regular store.

This makes some of the skins almost impossible to get, which is why people pay hundreds of dollars to get their hands on some of them!
