We all know Tryndamere, the agile fighter/assassin that’s always prepared to shred any squishy enemy that approaches him. And, of course, he looks as deadly as ever with the primal Beast Hunter skin.
While playing as Beast Hunter Tryndamere, you will definitely feel how this skin changes the top lane champion.
His all-black chainmail armor is replaced by prehistoric-looking leather armor, and his massive weapon appears as if it used to be a part of some beast’s jaw.
Beast Hunter Tryndamere was released in February 2016. This is a regular skin and is available to purchase through League’s store.
The skin is a part of the prehistoric universe and shares many similarities to the other skins in the Prehistoric Hunters skin line.

When you see Beast Hunter Tryndamere for the first time, you’ll immediately notice his mighty weapon made out of animal teeth.
Also, he wears a very distinguishable prehistoric outfit with asymmetrical shoulder plates and a helmet with two big animal tusks in the front. The color palette mostly consists of the colors brown and gold.
Although this skin isn’t that old, it doesn’t offer any new animations for Tryndamere’s abilities or Recall.
And, just with all the other prehistoric skins, Beast Hunter Tryndamere doesn’t have any chromas, either.
Abilities
Passive – Battle Fury
Tryndamere’s passive increases his fury with each basic attack. Its visuals include a very pale red circle around the champion.
Q – Bloodlust
The active ability heals Tryndamere and surrounds him with green twirls visually.
W – Mocking Shout
Tryndamere shouts and releases a gust of wind in all directions. If the enemy champion is facing the opposite direction, a chicken head will appear on top of him and he will be slowed.
E – Spinning Slash
As Tryndamere is spinning and slashing, he also dashes in the pointed direction. The ability has the same animation as the base skin, just like the rest of Tryndamere’s abilities.
R – Undying Rage
The ultimate sets Tryndamere ablaze, surrounding him with fiery sparks.
Emotes
Joke
Tryndamere tries to unstuck his weapon that’s buried in the ground with both hands. He succeeds but falls on the ground while doing it. He also says the following line:
“My right arm is a lot stronger than my left arm!”
Taunt
Tryndamere taunts his enemies and says:
“You never stood a chance.”
As he says this, he holds his weapon above his head with both his hands and then swings it left and right a couple of times.

Dance
The dance consists mostly of Tryndamere moving his legs and jumping in place, as he’s holding his weapon with both hands statically.
Laugh
Tryndamere puts his arm on his belly and laughs shortly.
Recall
For the recall animation, Tryndamere sets his weapon aside, gets down on the ground, and starts doing push-ups.
Beast Hunter Tryndamere – Price
The price of Beast Hunter Tryndamere is 750 RP.
This is around $6 or €6. Unless you already have the required amount, you’d need to at least get the $10 RP pack with 1380 RP.
This is the cheapest pack that has enough RP for Beast Hunter Tryndamere, and you’ll even have some RP to spare.
There are also two cheaper ways to get this skin, both of which depend on the luck of the draw.
The first way is to get it for a discounted price via Your Shop. The shop is open for a limited time and offers discounts of up to 70% for six different skins.
These skins are mostly for champions you have played often the last six months.
The second cheap way to get Beast Hunter Tryndamere is through the loot system. The bad part is that this is also based on pure luck.
But, the good part is that you don’t even have to pay with RP anymore! Instead, you can craft this skin for only 450 Orange Essence.

Is Beast Hunter Tryndamere Worth It?
For the low price of only 750 RP, I would say yes, it’s worth it. Beast Hunter Tryndamere definitely deserves to be put in the A Tier skins list even!
Although it doesn’t come with any new animations, the skin offers a complete change of Tryndamere’s appearance.
Also, while playing with the Beast Hunter skin, you get the immersion of playing a primordial relentless barbarian, so if you’re already a fan of Tryndamere, no doubt you’ll enjoy it!
